About:

Alex is currently a Dawson student in Pure and Applied Sciences. He attended Collège de Montréal for high school, where he received the Academic Excellence Award each year from grades eight to eleven. In his graduating year, Alex was one of three students to win the prestigious Governor General’s Award; given to the student with the highest overall average in the two last years of high school. Alex tutored math to students in younger grades throughout his high school years. Alex was in the sports-study program in high school, where he underwent intensive tennis training for more than three hours every day after school. These skills allowed Alex to work as a tennis instructor for children as well as adults. As a tennis coach, Alex learned many techniques and skills that allowed him to become an even better academic tutor.

Alex speaks English and French fluently. He is an engaging and animated tutor and always makes himself available to his students whenever they need him. Alex hopes to surpass the expectation of being a tutor by also being a mentor to his students.

À propos:

Alex est présentement étudiant au Collège Dawson en Sciences pures et appliquées. Il a étudié au Collège de Montréal pour ses études secondaires, où il a reçu à chaque année le Prix d'Excellence Académique. Lors de sa dernière année au secondaire, Alex était un de trois étudiants à gagner le prestigieux Prix du Gouverneur-général, donné à l'étudiant avec la moyenne globale la plus élevée durant les deux dernières années du secondaire. Alex a fait du tutorat en mathématique auprès des étudiants plus jeunes pendant toutes ses années au secondaire. Il était dans le programme sport-étude, où il s'est investi dans des entraînements intensifs de tennis pendant plus de trois heures chaque jour après l'école. Ces compétences ont permis à Alex de travailler comme instructeur de tennis auprès desenfants aussi bien que des adultes. Comme entraîneur de tennis, Alex a appris beaucoup de techniques et de compétences qui lui ont permis de devenir un meilleur tuteur.
