About:Alexandra graduated from York University with an Honours Degree in Fine Arts as well as a Bachelor of Education, specializing in Junior/Intermediate divisions and was a member of the Dean’s Honour Roll. Alexandra has experience working with and teaching students in the Primary division through volunteer work. As a concurrent education graduate, she has had three years of teaching experience in all subject areas. Alexandra has created dynamic lessons that interest her students with the use of technology, books and PowerPoint presentations. She has experience in assisting students with organizational tips that are helpful for tests, projects and homework due dates. Alexandra is energetic, patient, organized, hard-working and always aims to set students up for success and confidence in school. Additionally, Alexandra is trained on the Direct Instruction Reading Mastery and Connecting Math Concepts Programs and she enjoys guiding students who are needing remedial support.
At York University, Alexandra organized an Art Club for students in grades one to eight which allowed students to learn about drama, dance and visual arts. Alexandra has a passion for theatre and has acted for over eight years.
Alexandra also enjoys reading, zumba, and is a fan of the Raptors and Blue Jays.
