Amanda holds a BA from Queen's University and is an Ontario certified
teacher having graduated with a Bachelor of Education from Queen's
University specializing in the primary/junior divisions. She has also
acquired the Intermediate English Additional Basic Qualification as well
as the Special Education Part 1 Additional Qualification to better support
students with exceptionalities. Amanda has experience teaching kindergarten
through grade 8. She is currently an occasional teacher with the OCDSB.
Amanda believes that every student is unique and has individual strengths
and weaknesses. It is her desire as a teacher to help students develop
learning goals and equip them with the tools they need to be successful.
She hopes to impart a love of learning through meaningful learning experiences
and encourage students to try new things without fear of failure.
