Ann is a québécoise having grown up in her home town of Trois-Rivières,
Quebec. She attended CECEP in Lennoxville, Quebec and completed her Bachelor
of Fine Arts at Concordia University. Hosting a variety of international
students and teaching them to speak English, has given Ann an insightful
intuition on language learning . Ann understands that language learning
is multi-faceted and having an arts and language background, allows her
to incorporate real life situations and relevant interests as part of
the students’ learning. Ann speaks English, French, Chinese, and
currently learning American Sign Language. She is a full time senior French
and homeroom teacher in the Toronto District School Board teaching French
and subjects such as History, Geography, Dance, Drama, Language Arts.
In 2015, Ann received her French specialist qualifications from York U.
