Primary Junior Special Education Teacher
Ashley completed her B.Ed at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education where she received the Bertha and Howard Robertson Award for excellence in teaching Primary and Junior Education. She also holds an M.A. in English from York University and a B.A. in English from DePaul University, where she was honoured with the University Presidential Mission Scholarship, McCormick Community Partner Scholar Award and Women of Spirit and Action Award.
Ashley has extensive childcare and teaching experience, and is incredibly passionate about the development of each child with which she works. Ashley has extensive experience differentiating instruction for individual learners, and is committed to helping every student achieve high levels of success through hands-on, engaging instruction. In addition to teaching literacy, Ashley also has experience teaching mathematics to students up to the grade 10 level.
