Ben is a certified high school math teacher who has over 6 years of Math and French tutoring experience. He graduated from a Master of Science in Geophysics and during university he was in charge of the graduate level math labs. Ben provides tutoring from grade 2 to grade 12 in both french and math including Calculus, Algebra and Functions, Counting and Probability, Data Analysis and Statistics, Financial Mathematics, Geometry, Logic and Sets, Numbers, and Data Management. Throughout his tutoring career, Ben has come to the conclusion that the main reason responsible for students' failure in any area of study is a result of a lack of interest and passion. Ben became a math enthusiast in grade 11 after being taught by an extremely passionate math teacher. Ben considers that students need to see how the area of study applies to fields or topics that the student is passionate about. He uses an approach based on assisting students with personalized attention to take control of their test scores while learning at their own pace. This allows students to unlock their full potential and build higher confidence. Outside of the classroom Ben loves cooking. He also plays recreational tennis and enjoys learning how to develop mobile applications.
