Boston was a Concurrent Teacher Education student at the University of
Toronto, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology,
with a self-focus on child development. She has completed her Bachelor
of Education at OISE, where she specializes in the Primary/Junior level.
As a Concurrent Education student, Boston has considerable experience
with a variety of students of different needs, backgrounds, ages, aptitudes
and interests, and takes pride in creating lessons and activities that
help each individual child achieve success in a way conducive to their
learning style. Boston is passionate about literacy in schools. She loves
to and has a background in helping students learn to and improve reading
skills. She has her Special Education Part 1 and Kindergarten Part 1 through
Queens University. She has completed SSAT training and is qualified to
help students prepare for private school entry tests. Boston has a deep
knowledge of literature and chose to become a teacher to help inspire
a similar enthusiasm in children of all ages and interests.
