Celia graduated from the Concurrent Education program at Queen’s
University, majoring in Psychology for her undergraduate degree, and then
specializing in the Primary/ Junior division during her Bachelor of Education.
Celia’s past work and volunteer experience reflect her desire to
creatively engage students in learning. She most enjoys instructing Language
and Literacy, including reading and writing. Additionally, Celia greatly
enjoys working with children with Developmental Disabilities and other
exceptional learning needs. She believes that self- confidence and self-
efficacy are key to academic success and personal growth. Celia will begin
her Masters of Social Work at the University of Toronto in September,
specializing in Child and Family social work. Celia spent the last six
months travelling, and enjoys spending time outdoors, animals, and camping.
