Daniel completed his Bachelor’s degree in 2013, majoring in English
at York University. He then went on to complete Teachers College at the
University of Western Ontario in 2015 in the intermediate level specializing
in mathematics and English. Currently, Daniel volunteers his time at a
school every morning, assisting the resource teacher. He enjoys his time
working with the resource students in Grades 1-5, and finds joy and satisfaction
in their accomplishments. Previously, Daniel worked with middle-school
aged students in grades 6, 7, and 8 teaching mathematics and English.
Daniel is also a trained SSAT coach, and he enjoys prepping students for
this test. He has ten years of experience working with children, and first
discovered his passion for helping children through his love of hockey.
Daniel’s first experience teaching children was through hockey instructing,
which he still does to this day. He currently works at an after school
and lunchtime program, where he runs physical and cooperative activities,
and helps children with their homework daily.
