Senior French Tutor
Elizabeth is an experienced french educator with over 5 years of tutoring experience. She achieved her Honors Bilingual Certificate for French Immersion from Malvern Collegiate Institute. She continued with her French studies in University, completing several French courses while earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Elizabeth has done exchanges to France, wherein she was able to surround herself with native French speakers and study in French schools for several months. Since graduating, Elizabeth has put her French skills to use in an office environment as an executive assistant. Her responsibilities included scheduling meetings and helping with translations for Quebec clients.
Elizabeth began tutoring French in high school and has tutored many students with various ages and skill levels. She has gained experience working with children and teens at summer camps, day camps and as a nanny.
Elizabeth is native to Toronto and is very familiar with the city and it’s schools. When she’s not in school she loves to travel and be outdoors.
French has proven to be very useful for Elizabeth but she knows it can get overwhelming, especially if a student has fallen behind. She’s excited to show students how beneficial and enjoyable French can be when one is comfortable with the material.
