Grace is a certified teacher in Primary/Junior/ Intermediate/ Senior divisions and has additional qualifications in E.S.L Part I and Math Part I. She is knowledgeable and able to adapt to working with any students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. She has experience tutoring students in reading, writing, mathematics, and teaching effective study habits. At Branksome Hall, she was an Occasional Teacher who taught the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). Currently, she works for the York Region District School Board supporting students with special needs such as autism, developmental delays, and learning disabilities. At the secondary school level, she has taught Gr. 10 Canadian History, Gr 10. Civics, and Gr. 11 Introduction to Anthropology, Psychology and Sociology. Grace completed her B.Ed. from University of Western Ontario and graduated with Honours B.A. from University of Toronto.

Before she became a teacher, Grace worked as a swim instructor for over 10 years. She worked as a camp counsellor for various recreational programs in Toronto. She also has international experiences in Ghana, Thailand, and Cambodia working at non-profit, community organizations advocating for health and education rights of children. She believes in helping students make personal connections to their academics. She loves having conversations with her students about how their career goals relate to what they learn in school.
