Primary Junior Special Education
Hannah graduated from the University of Toronto, Ontario Institute of Studies in Education (OISE), in April 2016 with her Master of Teaching degree. Prior to attending OISE, Hannah completed a collaborative Early Childhood Education program, receiving both a diploma in ECE, and a Bachelor in Early Childhood Studies. Hannah's experiences working with exceptional children in her practicums fuelled her interest in mental health and well-being, which inspired her thesis on Social-Emotional Learning, and how to teach the Whole Child.
After graduating from OISE, Hannah moved to Australia to teach for a year. She began working in primary/junior mainstream schools, before transitioning full time to a Special Development School. Hannah's passion for special education is evident in her practice, and her ability to meet the individual needs of her students. Hannah is currently enrolled in a Special Education Additional Qualification course with Queens University.
Although Hannah keeps herself extremely busy with school, she will always make time for her dog, Bullwinkle. Not only does she LOVE animals, but loves travelling and learning about new places across the world, and hopes to someday bring Bullwinkle travelling with her.
