Primary/Junior Tutor & SSAT Coach
Hannah is a recent graduate of the Master of Teaching program at OISE, UofT with a specialization in Primary/Junior grades and Special Education. She also received her undergraduate degree in World Religions and Art History from McGill University in 2013. She is completing her Special Education additional qualification this summer in order to be qualified to teach in Special Education. Hannah’s diverse experiences have confirmed her desire to become a teacher. She has experience teaching in a variety of elementary classroom settings, where she had the opportunity to work with ELL students one-on-one, working specifically with their reading and writing skills, working one-on-one with students in math, and working with children with special needs. Some of Hannah’s other experiences include working at the Play and Learn Nursery School at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, working as a special needs assistant at a summer day camp and working as a drama specialist at various sleepover camps. Hannah promotes individualized learning by making learning meaningful and relatable to her students. Her goal is to get students engaged, feeling confident and thinking critically, while creating a safe and fun learning environment. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys cooking, singing, reading and solving math problems!
