Heather is an Ontario Certified Teacher with a Bachelor of Education from
the University of Ottawa. She graduated from Queen’s University
with a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education in 2011. She also has
additional qualifications in special education. In addition to her passion
for teaching and coaching, Heather loves the outdoors. She has worked
for various programs, including ALIVE Outdoors Inc. and Camp Summit, as
guide and outdoor education instructor, leading backcountry hiking and
canoe trips for youth and adolescents. Heather enjoys working with students
to help them reach beyond their potential while fostering a love of learning.
She is currently working as an Occasional Teacher and coaches a Varsity
girl’s rugby team.
