Jacqueline is currently a teacher candidate studying Bachelor of Education (BEd) program at York University. She has also completed her undergraduate degree at Ryerson University studied Early Childhood Education. Jacqueline is a self-directed, dedicated and enthusiastic person with a genuine interest to foster children’s developmental and social growth. Jacqueline has a strong passion for Mandarin Teaching. She is currently working part-time in a program teaching kindergarten and school-aged students Mandarin every week after school. During her years of university, Jacqueline spent most of her time working with children in various age groups, including Junior and Senior Kindergarten children, Preschoolers, and Grade 1-5 students. Thus, she developed a great interest in teaching.
Her philosophy is that each child is a unique individual and should be treated equally as she seeks to form a close relationship with them and their families with sincere respect. Jacqueline is able to establish a positive, nurturing, and safe learning environment for all children. Her goal is to use her knowledge to provide children a rich, positive and healthy environment where they can feel safe to explore and feel free to express themselves.
