Jessica graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies. She then went on to York University where she will soon be graduating from the Bachelor of Education program. Jessica is qualified to teach the primary/junior grades in various subjects with emphasis on using the Direct Instruction philosophy.
Jessica has had experience working with students between the ages of 21/2 and 12 with various exceptionalities including students with Autism, behavioral, and developmental needs. Jessica has worked in summer camps, a Montessori daycare, and various schools within the TCDSB and TDSB. She has also taught abroad in Rome, Italy where she worked at an international school with students in Grades 1 through 3.
Jessica loves spending time with family, travelling, and trying new foods! She is enthusiastic, passionate about teaching and learning, and truly believes that students learn best when they are provided with a safe and supportive learning environment that is tailored to best suit their learning needs!
