Jessica earned a Master of Science degree in Biology from York University
in 2017. During her two-year Master's degree, Jessica worked as a
teaching assistant for both biology and natural science laboratories.
She has extensive experience teaching first-year students within the class
room setting as well as 1:1 tutoring. As a teaching assistant, Jessica
prepared mini-lectures for her students, guided them throughout their
laboratories and aided students in completing their lab reports. During
her undergraduate degree at York University, Jessica studied various courses
in biology, chemistry and physics, as well as math. Jessica's goals
as a tutor are to help students make connections with their work and understand
challenging concepts, as well as to provide an engaging learning experience
that will motivate students to excel in their studies. In her spare time,
Jessica plays in a recreational soccer league, enjoys time with her family
and fri ends and goes for hikes with her dog. Jessica is also currently
working towards attending dental school.
