Kay-Lee graduated from the Concurrent Education program at Nipissing University in 2016 where she received her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has also acquired Special Education Part 1. In addition, Kay-Lee has completed American Sign Language 101 and 102 to support students with deaf or hard-of-hearing exceptionalities. Kay-Lee provides students with opportunities and encouragement to give them the confidence to learn and have a positive attitude towards growth as a student and as an individual. With patience and understanding, she also teaches her students how to become more efficient learners by working with them to develop organizational learning strategies. Through education, volunteer opportunities, and work experiences, Kay-Lee has a deep knowledge and understanding of a child’s social, physical, and emotional development and how these relate to the individual’s growth and behaviour. In her spare time Kay-Lee enjoys dancing tap, jazz, ballet and Zumba and spending time with her family and friends.
