This helps students feel supported while taking ownership for their learning. In addition, she focuses on developing an understanding of each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and interests. Laurel loves learning, through any medium, and her priority is making sure students understand and enjoy what they are learning.
In addition to teaching, Laurel loves animals, adopting two cats and a dog from Kuwait. She also loves to travel, and this year she has visited Great Britain, Oman, and the Seychelles! In her spare time, Laurel likes to read, do yoga, cook, and spend time with her husband. She also loves nature, especially water, and enjoys swimming and scuba diving!
