Maryann has developed a teaching philosophy around the belief that all students can learn in a safe place where they can work towards reaching their full potential, allowing them to be free to explore their imaginations and share their ideas. She acknowledges that all students learn in different ways and believes it is crucial to include a wide variety of teaching techniques, activities and assessments to adhere to a wide range of learners. Currently, Maryann volunteers at a high school in hopes of becoming a full-time teacher. When not teaching, Maryann enjoys an active lifestyle, playing soccer, cooking and art.
