Intermediate Generalist and Senior History and Religion Teacher
Michael Serodio is a recent graduate from the Faculty of Education at York University, and posses a Specialized Honours Degree in History and minored in Religious studies.
At an early age Michael was inspired by a high school History teacher who made learning fun and memorable. Since then, he aspired to become a mentor and teacher just like his. Michael is passionate about learning, teaching and making a difference. He empathizes with real, everyday struggles for high school students and encourages students to persevere and feel motivated about learning in a safe, inclusive environment.
Michael has a wide range of teaching methods for different age groups and student abilities. He has created fun lessons for students in grades 6-8 in summer programs, to teaching high school students in grades 9-12, to mentoring students entering University. Michael brings enthusiasm with every subject taught and aims to help students achieve their full potential.
Aside from teaching, Michael enjoys travelling, photography, fishing, anything automotive or car related, and drawing.
