Primary/Junior Special Education Tutor
Michelle is a certified teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Criminology. She then went on to complete her Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University in the primary and junior divisions, as well as a Masters of Education from the University of Calgary. She has an additional qualification in Special Education and has experience working with children with special needs.
Michelle has taught in England, Korea, and Canada for the past few years. She has taught and tutored students from kindergarten to grade 12. She has a lot of experience teaching English, ESL, and teaching children to read and write for the first time. She also has experience teaching Mathematics at various elementary levels, as well as essay writing for all levels.
Michelle loves working with students individually so she can modify her lessons to suit her students’ learning styles. She believes in creating a positive learning environment where questions are encouraged and likes working closely together with parents to help support their children’s individual needs. Michelle loves traveling, drawing, painting, and reading classic novels.
