Natalie is currently working as a library technician for the Toronto Catholic
District School Board. She completed her Master of Teaching degree at
the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.
She has qualifications in the Primary and Junior divisions, as well as
in Vocal Music. Natalie has taught students from Kindergarten to Grade
8 throughout her practicums and when she taught full-time last year in
the private sector. Natalie is a trained remedial reading teacher and
she enjoys delivering the Reading Mastery Direct Instruction approach
to students who are struggling to read and write. In addition, she has
a strong background in mathematics education and previously tutored intermediate
students in mathematics. Natalie is most passionate about mathematics
and the arts, and she is always eager to find ways to integrate the two.
As a singer and musician, she believes that the arts can help students
find unique ways to learn in other subjects.
