Primary/Junior Special Education Tutor
Paige is a graduate of the Master of Arts in Child Study and Education through the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study at OISE. Paige is certified to teach K-6, and she also holds a qualification in Special Education. Paige graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2013 with a Honours Bachelor of Arts in English and Women & Gender Studies.
Paige’s teaching experience ranges from an Early Years Centre, to JK/SK, Grade One, Grade Four/Five and a Grade 5 class for students with Learning Disabilites. Paige has worked in both public and private schools, which has allowed for her to learn from different teachers and learning environments and to obtain knowledge of the IB curriculum in the early years.
Paige really enjoys helping students reach their full potential by making the learning experience interactive. In her lesson planning and research experience, Paige has seen the positive benefits of using an inquiry based approach to teaching students.
Paige has always worked with children in her employment and volunteer experiences, providing her with a solid foundation of child development. Paige recognizes that every student is different and therefore may require an individualized approach in their tutoring session.
Paige loves reading and writing, and enjoys sharing her passion with others.
