Raphael is from Toronto and has international experience concerning his
education and cultural knowledge. Raphael lived in the Middle East teaching
students to speak and write in English. He earned his diploma in Political
Science from Los Angeles Valley College in California and he completed
his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Kent State University
in Northeast Ohio.
Raphael continued his academic career by earning a Masters of Arts in
Teaching (M.A.T.) degree in Education at Kent State and he is currently
qualified to teach Social studies. His knowledge in social, economic,
political and cultural issues serve as a strong foundation to teach politics,
government, history and humanities.
Raphael embraces the principles of differentiated instruction to help
every student learn at all levels. Raphael recently earned his Additional
Qualification in Senior History and he cultivates a highly engaging learning
environment for every student.
His teaching philosophy focuses on the importance of always engaging students
to enjoy the learning process towards success. Outside the classroom,
Raphael enjoys travelling to new places and learning about new cultures.
