Rebecca holds her Masters of Arts in Education and Society: Teaching, Learning,
and Curriculum from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science in Child
Development with Teaching Certification from Colby-Sawyer College in New
London, New Hampshire.
She has worked as a replacement teacher at Lower Canada College, Saint George’s School, Selwyn House and the Mackay Centre (Kindergarten to Grade 6) in the English Language Arts, Math, Science, Physical Education, Art, and Music.
She was a teacher at the Summit School for students with intellectual disabilities, autism and behavioral/emotional disturbances and designed community-based and academic curriculums to meet each student’s Individualized Education Plan goals.
Rebecca taught at the Peter Hall School in Saint-Laurent (students with disabilities), where she communicated openly with parents of students, educators and specialists.
She also taught at Coventry Elementary School in Crystal Lake, Illinois, where she planned and organized student programming and led small group activities in mathematics and literacy.
Her extensive experience, large amount of patience, and love of teaching make her one of our most specialized tutors for all elementary school subjects (including gifted children).
