Sean Day graduated from Concordia University in 2007 with a focus in both
English and History; this was followed a few years later with a Bachelor
of Education from the University of Ottawa focussing on the intermediate/senior
levels. He also has the following qualifications junior division, special
education part 1, and is working on religion part 1. Sean currently works
as a supply teacher for the Catholic District School Board of Eastern
Ontario and is always looking to find new ways to grow as a teacher. Sean
has also spent the last two years working at a summer camp at Carleton
University teaching ESL to students from various countries around the
world. Sean has also volunteered with Scout’s Canada working with
children between the ages of 6-9, and with Special Olympics as a coach.
Sean enjoys working one-on-one with students and making connections that
helps to build the student’s confidence while using different resources
to make his lessons a fun and rewarding experience. In his spare time
Sean enjoys martial arts, reading, traveling, movies, current affairs,
and has recently started learning about Astronomy.
