Primary Junior and Senior English Teacher
Stephanie graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelors degree in English and Sociology. Soon after, she obtained her Bachelor of Education degree from the Schulich School of Education at Nipissing University. Stephanie is certified by the Ontario College of Teachers to teach at the primary and junior levels. She recently completed her additional qualification for intermediate English. As someone who has taught abroad and has worked with students of multiple age groups, she has gained an understanding of how important it is for students to see themselves reflected in the curriculum. Stephanie strives on creating learning experiences that utilize learning centres, interactive technology, cooperative learning and differentiated instruction. As a current educator at a Private High School in Toronto, she continues to incorporate these learning experiences for her students because she has both seen and experienced the value of doing so through past experience. Additionally, Stephanie is trained in the Wilson Reading Program and she enjoys delivering remedial instruction to students who need differentiated remedial instruction. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys travelling around the world to places such as Europe and the Caribbean to explore and learn about many different cultures. In addition, she is passionate about fitness and spending time with her family and friends.
