I knew I wanted to work with students and help them learn ever since I
was a tiny girl. My mother opened up her own day care which I spent most
of my childhood and adolescent life being a part of. It inspired me to
get my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education, which I graduated
with honors in from Ryerson University. I decided I wanted to extend my
learning even further, so I went to York University right after to complete
my Bachelor's of Education so that I could be certified as a teacher.
Throughout my practicums I developed a real passion in working with students
who had special needs, and who were learning English as a second language.
So I decided to go to OISE at the University of Toronto and acquired my
additional qualifications in both ESL and Special Education. During the
week I have been tutoring students for about 3 years now, and on evenings
and weekends, I am a DJ! I am very passionate about art and music and
and I love that I can express myself through both outlets. I am a huge
animal lover and enjoy using my summers to travel all over the world.
I really look forward to building a personal relationship with your child
and helping them grow and achieve their highest capabilities!
