Venezia is currently in her second year of Teacher's College at York University and will graduate in June 2018 where she will become an Ontario Certified Teacher at the Primary/Junior level. She graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies prior to starting her journey towards obtaining her Bachelors of Education degree. Venezia has worked in summer camps with children ages 7 to 12 for almost 7 years, has had multiple placement experiences in the Toronto Catholic Disctrict School Board, private schools such as the Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto School and Holland Bloorview. In addition, Venezia has had experiential learning in early childhood settings where she maintained ongoing communication with parents/caregivers and was able to work with children with exceptionalities including autism, children with ADHD and students who are on an IEP. Venezia is qualified to tutor children in all areas of learning from Kindergarten up to the Grade 6 level. In addition to teaching, she remains active in the community by volunteering with various organizations such as St. Matthews Parish and Tha Spot Dance Centre teaching dance on occasion! Venezia loves to be active and maintain a healthy lifestyle!
