Yann is a graduate student in Bioinformatics at the University of Montreal.
He previously graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering, along with a specialization in Evolutionary Theory. During this time, Yann tutored students in Calculus, Numerical Analysis, and French. Additionally, he helped students with mastering studying skills, choosing a career path, and developing leadership skills.
Most recently, he represented Universite de Montreal as a volunteer at the ‘Festival Eurêka,' where he explained the basics of computer programming (by developing a video game in NETLOGO software), to children ranging in age from 4 to 13.
Yann is able to tutor Grade 9 -12 in Math (including calculus), Statistics, and French.
His enthusiasm and experiences enable him to create a fun-yet-stimulating learning environment.
Outside of the classroom Yann enjoys watching movies, trying out new restaurants, practicing his Italian, and playing basketball.
