Yasmeenah is a Master’s student in Psychology, specializing in Experimental Neuroscience. Her current research focuses on aspects of biological visual functions such as visual perception and how it is applied to everyday behaviour. Yasmeenah is a dedicated teaching assistant specializing in data analysis and advanced statistics. She is especially interested in sharing her enthusiasm for mathematics, statistics, applied sciences, and technology with young developing minds. Yasmeenah aims to provide resources and tools for students so that they develop problem solving skills with confidence. She combines mentorship with instructions in both French and English languages to promote an enthralling environment for learning and achievement. As a full-time research scientist, Yasmeenah is a large advocate for higher learning, as well as promoting agency and mastery from a multidisciplinary educational approach. Outside academia, she enjoys engaging in outdoor activities, languages, cultural studies, and travel.
